Description
If you have by no means applied for a PAN card or if you do not possess any Permanent Account number at that time you can put an application for a new pan card. In order to apply for a new pan card the claimant must hold identity evidence which comprises the applicant’s photograph, date of birth evidence which reveals the date, month and year of the claimant’s birth, and address evidence in the name of the applicant. Proof for instance identity evidence, date of birth, address evidence should be in force at the stage of applying for a pan card. Candidates for whom pan number is allocated must not apply for fresh allocation of the permanent account number as the holding of more than one PAN is contrary to the law.
